Denue, a longtime employee of the Glens Falls and Continental Insurance Companies, died Saturday (Sept. 14, 1985) in Glens Falls Hospital after a long illness. She was 02. A resident of 17 Schuylerville Koad, Mrs. Denue retired from the insurance company in 1982 after 25 years of service.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Gansevoort and a past member and former secretary of the Gansevoort Volunteer Fire Company Auxiliary. She was born in Whitehall on Dec. 12, 1922, the daughter of Frederick and Hazel Root Dalton. Besides her husband, Raymond Denue, surviving are: a daughter, Dianna Clement of Brownville, Maine; a son, Richard T. Denue of South Glens F'alls five grandchildren; three sisters.

Florence Reynolds of Southwick, Beatrice Generous of Argyle. and Beverly Kennedy of Whitehall; three brothers, William Dalton of Tacoma, Thomas Dalton of Mays Landing, N.J., and Donald Dalton of Argyle; an uncle; and several nieces and nephews. Smith of Earl Towers died Saturday (Sept. 14, 1985) in Glens Falls Hospital after a short illness. She was 75. Mrs. Smith was a member of St.

Paul's Parish. She was born in Queensbury on July 29, 1910, the daughter of Louis and Rosina Viau Blondin. She was the widow of Ashley H. Smith. Surviving are: a son, Richard Smith of Clifton Park, a daughter, Mrs.

Bruce (Shirley) Matthews of Hudson Falls; seven grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Lawrence (Cecelia) Girard of Glens Falls; two brothers, Lawrence Blondin of South Glens Falls and Edward Smith of Fort Edward; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. A Mass of Christian burial will be offered at 9 a.m. today in the Church of St. Mary and St.

The Carleton Funeral Home, 68 Main is handling arrangements. Thomas C. Irish SCHUYLERVILLE Thomas C. Irish, a retired employee of the Saratoga Racetrack, died Friday (Sept. 13, 1985) in Glens Falls Hospital after a long illness.

He was 62. A resident of Schuyler Heights Drive, Mr. Irish was born in Hinesburg, on March 22, 1923. He was the son of Laura Bell Irish of Saratoga Springs and the late Charles E. Irish.

Besides his mother and wife, Cecile Mauthieu Irish, surviving are: three daughters, Mrs. Karl (Joyce) Sarro of Schuylerville, Mrs. Thomas (Gloria) Molisky of Schaghticoke, and Mrs. Richard (Joann) Grant of Greenfield Center; two sons, Adelord Irish of Victory Mills and Paul Irish of Schuylerville; a brother, Charles Irish of Schuylerville; two sisters, Mary Lewis of Saratoga Springs and Margaret Atherton of Troy; 11 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian burial will be offered at 9:30 a.m.

The Flynn Bros. Funeral Home, 13 Gates is handling arrangements. Lawrence S. Ayers WHITEHALL Lawrence S. Ayers, a retired dairy farmer, died unexpectedly Sunday (Sept.

15, 1985) at his Lower Turnpike Road home. He was 7fi. Mr. Ayers retired from farming after many years and went to work for the Whitehall Plywood Corp. He was born in Whitehall on Aug.

28, 1909, the son of Frank and Hettie Sheldon Ayers. Surviving are: a son. Michael Ayers of Poultney, three brothers. Edson, Francis and Theodore Ayers, all of Whitehall; two sisters, Marion Woodcock and Minerva Foote, both of Whitehall; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be conducted at a later date.

Cremation will be in Gardner Earl Crematory, Troy. There will be no calling hours. The family has suggested that memorials take the form of donations to the Skenesborough Emergency Squad. The Jillson Funeral Home 46 William is handling arrangements. Thomas II.

Canzeri CAMBRIDGE Thomas H. Canzeri of West Main Street died unexpectedly Sunday (Sept. 15, 1985) at home. He was 42. Mr.

Canzeri was born in Cambridge on April 29. 1943, the son of Nicholas and Eloise Updike Canzeri. Surviving are: three sons, Thomas Joseph Canzeri, stationed with the Navy in Florida, Brian Christopher Canzeri of Cambridge, and Michael Joseph Guay-Canzeri of Albany; a sister, Gail Horton of Cambridge; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Services will be conducted at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Charles A.

for 33 years, died Friday (Sept. 13, 1985) in Glens Falls Hospital after long illness. He was 60. A resident of Hudson Falls, Mr. Chase also had worked for the Town of Kingsbury and served as fire chief of the Kingsbury Volunteer Hose Company, which he had belonged to since 1951.

An avid hunter and fisherman, he married Sara McGuire on Sept. 5, 1943. He was a Navy veteran of World Warll. He was born in Fort Ann on July 2, 1925, the son of Wallace A. and Louise Stockwell Chase.

Besides his wife, surviving are: a daughter, Mrs. James (Bonnie) Currie of Kingsbury; two sons, Nelson W. Chase Jr. and James M. Chase both of Kingsbury; 10 grandchildren and a great-grandson; two sisters, Norma Trackey of Hudson Falls and Mrs.

Charles (Helen) Hodge of Queensbury; an aunt; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Private services were conducted Friday. Burial was in Morningside Cemetery, Hartford. The family has suggested that memorials take the form of donations to the Kingsbury Volunteer Hose Company building fund or the Fort Edward Rescue Squad. Beatrice Langworthy WARRENSBURG Beatrice Langworthy, who had worked for the New York Telephone Co. for 15 vears. died Saturday (Sept. 1985) in Glens Falls Hospital after a long illness. She was 70.

A resident of 10 Hudson Mrs. Langworthy had worked as a custodian for the telephone company. She lived in the area most of her life. She was born in Fort Ann on Jan. 28, 1915, the daughter of Harlis and Ora West Granger.

She was the widow of Theodore Langworthy. Surviving are: a daughter, Mrs. Floyd (Ida) Tucker of Warrensburg; four grandsons, a granddaughter and a great-granddaughter; a sister, Mrs. Stanley (Theresa) Robinson- of West Glens Falls; an uncle and two aunts; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Services will be conducted at 1 p.m.

Lannon, 75, former state supervising public health nurse, died Saturday (Sept. 14, 1985) at her home, 254 Nelson Ave.

Born Sept. 2, 1910, in the town of Easton, the daughter of Michael and Bridget Lyons Hughes, she worked as a nurse for more than 30 years. Her husband, James M. Lannon, died in 1975. Mrs.

Lannon was a graduate of Greenwich High School, Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in Albany and Syracuse University. She served as a New York State supervising public health nurse in Saratoga County for 19 years, retiring in 1971. She also served as a public health nurse in other nearby counties. She was a member of the New York State Public Health Nurses Association. Mrs.

Lannon was a communicant of St. Clement's Church, a lector and a eucharistic minister. She is survived by a brother, Thomas Hughes of Argyle; three nieces and a nephew. Friends may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 8 p.m. today in St.

Clement's Church, 231 Lake where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 8 tonight. Burial will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Greenwich. The family has asked that memorials be in the form of contributions to St.

Burial will be in Pine View Cemetery, Queensbury. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Alfred Miller MOREAU Alfred Miller, who retired from the former Patrician Paper Co. of South Glens Falls, died Saturday (Sept.

14, 1985) at his Saratoga Road home after a brief illness. He was 78. Born in Plattsburgh on Jan. 13, 1907, he was the son of Richard and Dorothy Everest Miller. Mr.

Miller lived in the Pine Trailer Court. He also worked for the International Paper Co. in Plattsburgh for many years. Survivors include his wife, Hilda; two daughters, Mrs. Raymond (Clare) Callahan of Corinth and Pearl Inguape of Plattsburgh; two sons, Alfred Miller Jr.

of Fort Edward and Robert Miller of Plattsburgh; three brothers. George, Richard and Francis Miller, all of Plattsburgh; two sisters, Anna Henry of Colorada and Mabel Burger of New Jersey; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Clark Funeral Home, 136 Main South Glens Falls. Burial will be in the Southside Cemetery, South Glens Falls.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Dayton Lockwood SARATOGA SPRINGS -Dayton Lockwood, 73, of 42 VanDam died Saturday (Sept. 14, 1985) at Saratoga Hospital after a long illness. Born May 26, 1912, in Wilton, he was the son of George and Sarah Woodard Lockwood.

He had lived in Saratoga Springs most of his life. A veteran of World War II, he was a chef, working at the Trade Winds Restaurant for the past several years. Survivors include: his wife, Gladys; two sons, Dayton of Lewisville, Texas, and John of Naperville, three grandchildren; a brother, Allen Lockwood of Wilton and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m. today in Greenridge Cemetery.

The Rev. Thomas T. Parke, rector of Bethesda Episcopal Church, will officiate. The family has asked that memorials be in the form of contributions to the Lou Gehrig Disease Foundation, the Boy Scouts of America or the Multiple Sclerosis Society. There will be no calling hours.

at Saratoga Hospital after a short illness. Born Aug. 18, 1809 in Schenectady, she had lived in the Saratoga Springs-Ballston Spa area for the past 14 years. Miss Nolan retired from the General Electric Co. in Schenectady after 40 years in the Large Motor Turbine Division.

Survivors include: a sister-in law, Delores Nolan of Whitesboro; several nieces and nephews, a great-niece and a great nephew. There will be no calling hours. Services will be conducted at 9:30 a.m. Friday in St. Mary's Church, Ballston Spa.
