Monday high 57. Monday low 41. Precipitation none. 25 Persons Injured In Weekend Mishaps Memorial Day weekend saw at least. 25 persons injured in 16 Glens Falls area accidents.

Harvey E. Thompson, 27, of Stillwater, was treated at Ticonderoga's Moses Ludington Hospital for head injuries suffered in a onecar mishap on Route 9N in the Town of Hague at 11:15 p.m. Sunday. State Police from the Chestertown substation investigated. Robert F.

McMore, 24, was treated at the Rutland, Hospital for minor injuries suffered at 3:45 a.m. Saturday on Beckwith Road in his hometown of Whitehall. State Police from the Whitehall substation investigated. Serge Pruneau, 20, of Quebec, Canada, suffered a cut face and contusions to the arm after he fell asleep at the wheel early Saturday morning on Route 22 in the Town of Jackson, and went off the right side of the road over a small brook and into a clump of small trees. He was treated at Mary McClellan Hospital in Cambridge and ticketed by State Police for failure to keep right.

Five Cambridge teenagers were injured Saturday morning on County Route 61 in the Town of Jackson when their car went off the left side of the road and rolled over several times, State Police said. The driver, Eric Loomis, 17, was, cited for unreasonable speed and released from Mary McClellan Hospital, after treatment wrist injuries. A passenger, 18- year-old Michael Meaney was released from the also after treatment for wrist injuries. Three other passengers, Donald Sweet and Lida Whitney, both 17, and Patrick Brown, 18, all suffered minor injuries. They were kept overnight in the hospital for observation, but have since been released.

Donald T. Wadsworth, 20, of Shushan, saw his own doctor after suffering 0 contusions to the face in a one-car crash on McMillan Road in the Town of Jackson Saturday morning. His car went off the left side of the road and rolled over, according to State Police, who gave Wadsworth a ticket for failure to keep right, unreasonable speed and unsafe tires. Ennea Petacchi, 10, of Lake George was released from Glens Falls Hospital after treatment for back and neck injuries suffered in a two-car accident on Horicon Avenue in the Town of Warrensburg at 11:20 a.m. Saturday.

She was a passenger in a car operated by Theresa Petacchi, 46, of Warrensburg, who Warren County Sheriff's Deputies said stopped in the traffic lane to make a left Ronald Shave, .30, of Warrensburg told deputies he didn't see Area Celebrates Memorial Day Area Celebrates His prayer dwelt upon the men who had given their lives for their country and stressed the need for "goodness, integrity and uprightness of Life." Rabbi Michael N. Farhi, spiritual leader of Temple Beth-El, delivered the benediction, similarly discussing those who had given their lives to preserve the American way of life. Queensbury High School Principal John Murphy was the principal speaker for the Town of Queensbury Memorial Day rites. Murphy's theme was one of optimism for a nation with domestic troubles. "Our country is no stranger to trouble.

Its beginnings stemmed from troubles. "I feel we have the greatest country in the world, bar none," Murphy said. "This country has risen from a beginning of trouble to the greatest power in the world because from Page 1) of people like you and people we're honoring today, our veterans." Referring only obliquely to the controversy surrouning the President, Murphy asserted that the ordeal will strengthen rather than weaken the nation. He said his confidence could be traced to his job in which he has daily contact with those who will "solve the problems of tomorrow." Murphy elicited applause when he observed, "I am honored if someone calls me a patriot I'm proud to display our Others who spoke included Queensbury VFW Commander Frank Kenny, the VFW's chaplain for the day, Henry LaLonde, who gave the invocation and benediction; the grand marshal, H. Russell Harris, and Queensbury Supervisor John Austin, who expressed hope that all veterans of all wars would be remembered on Memoral Day.

Glens Mrs. Agnes Klingo LAKE GEORGE Mrs. Agnes Klingo, of Court House Estates, 74, widow of the late James S. Klingo, died Monday (May 27, 1974) at the Eden Park Nursing Home. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs.

Alfred (Irene) Einstein of Lake George; Mrs. Herman (Florence) Kingon of Warwick; a sister, Mrs. Marten Cunningham Sr. of Glens Falls; four nephews and four nieces; several grand-nephews and grandnieces. Friends may call from 7 to 9 this evening at the Sullivan and Minahan Funeral Home, 67 Park St.

Services will be at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home and 9 a.m. at the Church of Our Lady of the Annunciation. Interment will be in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton, Mass. The family has asked that any memorials be in the form of contributions to the Heart Fund or a favorite charity and that flowers be omitted.

Robert Lape Smith and Mrs. Grace Smith MIDDLE GRANVILLE Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lape Smith died within hours of each other Sunday (May 26, 1974) at Pompano Beach, Fla. Mrs.

Smith died after a long illness. Mr. Smith died unexpectedly. Mrs. Smith was born in Middle Granville, daughter of Frederick and Henrietta Ives Hammond.

They were former residents of Great Notch, N.J. She is survived by two sisters, Miss Ava Hammond and Miss Mabelle Hammond, both of Middle Granville; two brothers, Willard Hammond and Everett Hammond, both of Middle Granville; several nieces and nephews. He is survived by two cousins. Funeral arrangements are pending under the direction of the Robert M. King Funeral Home, Granville.

Mrs. Nellie M. Bulger LAKE LUZERNE Mrs. Nellie M. Bulger, 88, died Friday (May 24, 1974) at Glens Falls Hospital.

She was born May 22, 1886, in Lake Luzerne, and was a life resident. of, the community. She was the widow of the late John M. Bulger. Survivors include a son, Paul G.

Bulger of Latham; grandchildren; three great a sister, Mrs. George Rogers of Taunton, and two nieces. Services were conducted Monday at the Brewer Funeral Home, Lake Luzerne, by Rev. Ronald VanSchenkhof, pastor of the Rockwell Falls Presbyterian Church. Interment was in Luzerne Cemetery.

Bearers were Charles Ackley, Herman Butler, Raymond Waterhouse, Robert Fosberry, Frederick Gardner. A Glens Falls Police Department color guard marches as the City Police vanguard of the city's Memorial Day parade Monday. Hundreds of city residents lined Glen Street for the parade, Color Guard and then gathered in Crandall Park for the annual memorial exercises. She was treated at Glens Falls Hospital for left ankle injuries and released. State Police investigated. Lori Trombley, 16 months, of 8030 Vaughn Road in Hudson Falls, was examined and released from Glens Falls Hospital, and her mother, Barbara, 27, released after treatment for a back injury.

They were in a two-car mishap Monday afternoon on the corner of Dixon and Vaughn Roads in Hudson Falls. The Washington County Sheriff's Department investigated. Two men were treated for head injuries at Glens Falls Hospital and then released, following a two-car accident on the Corinth Road in Queensbury Monday afternoon. Injured were the driver, 64-year-old Warren Grindrod of Whipperwill Road in Glens Falls, and a passenger, Laurier Lauighe, 24, of Glens Falls. Two other passengers, Donald Ainsworth, 47, of Glens Falls and his 12-yearold son James, did not require hospitalization.

The driver of the other car, 20-year-old Craig Bouer of Albany, was arrested nearly five hours later by Warren County Deputy Sheriff R. Hennig in Colonie, where he was stopped by the Colonie Police Department. Bouer was. charged with leaving the scene of an accident and failure to keep right. He posted bail with the Colonie Police and was given a June 3 appearance ticket for Queensbury Court.

Authorities said Bouer was westbound and crossed over the double line into the eastbound Grindrod car, forcing the Grindrod car to overturn. Daniel Chadwick, 18, of Route 2 in Greenwich was treated for unspecified injuries at Mary McClellan Hospital in Cambridge after his car crossed to the left side of Route 29 in Greenwich and went down an embankment into the Batten Kill River Sunday morning. The Washington County Sheriff's Department investigated. DEATH NOTICE Leo J. Kosakowski died May 26, 1974 at Memorial Hospital, Albany.

He was the husband of Mary Seal Kosakowski, father of Miss Karen M. Kosakowski. They lived at 61 Woodlawn Road, Latham. He was an warehouseman in Albany. Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 p.m.

Hudson Falls Has Parades HUDSON FALLS Memorial Day events in Hudson Falls included parades to Moss Street Cemetery, village square and Union Cemetery with Rev. George Bishop as parade grand marshal.

The main parade to Union Cemetery consisting of four divisions. Hudson Falls Mayor G. Roswell Earl and Kingsbury supervisor Leon Layden placed wreaths at Soldiers Monument. Each musical unit played a selection and volleys were fired by the Second Regiment of Continental Soldiers and the 64th Regiment Afoot. Following a moment of silence for Maj.

Gen. Cooper B. Rhodes, three volleys were fired by the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars firing squad, along with taps and echo by James Bittinger. A salute to Rev. Bishop concluded the ceremony.

Leonard (Hank) Allen DAY Leonard (Hank) Allen, 43, died of a selfinflicted gunshot would to the head about 11 a.m. Sunday near his home in the Town of Day, State Police said. He was known by many as the proprietor of Hank's Roofing Service, which he operated for the past several years. He was born Aug. 27, 1930, in the Town of Day, where he was a life resident.

During the Korean War he was stationed for more than three years with the U.S. Army in Germany. He formerly was employed for several years by Brownell Lumber Co. in the Town of Edinburgh. He also had been employed as a construction worker.

Survivors include his wife, Myrtle (Bosford) Allen; three sons, Henry, Andrew and Glen; four daughters, Mrs. Cheryl Allen, Cindy, Shirley and Lynn Allen; his mother, Mrs. Cora (Young) Allen; two brothers, Cecil and Cleo Allen; a sister, Miss Dorothy Allen, all of the Town of Day? three grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Friends, may call at the Densmore Funeral Home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today.

Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday from the Densmore Funeral Chapel by Rev. Richard Bennett, pastor of the First Wesleyan Church of Corinth. Interment will be in the Community Cemetery, Town of Day. Mrs.

William McGrath of 301 Guy, Park Amsterdam, a former resident of Glens Falls, died Saturday (May 25, 1974) at Albany Medical Center. He was born in Salem and had been associated with the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company as assistant manager until his retirement. He was married to the late Elizabeth Quigley McGrath of Hudson Falls. Survivors include a brother, John McGrath of North Lawrence; two nephews, Michael Syracuse and John Jr. of North Lawrence; and a niece, Mrs.

Robert Beebe of Williamsburg, W. Va. Services will be at 9:15 a.m. today at Riley's Funeral Home, Amsterdam, and at 10 a.m: at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Amsterdam. Interment will be in St.

Mary's Cemetery, Hudson Miss Cora E. Bartholomew CLEMONS Miss Cora E. Bartholomew, 76, died Saturday (May 25, 1974) at the Oakwood Nursing Home, Schenectady, after a long illness. She was born July 3, 1897, daughter of Jerome and Marion Steele Bartholomew. She was a retired tax collector for the Town of Dresen.

She was a member of the Dresen Baptist Church. Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Le Roy Williams of Highland; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. today at the Jillson Funeral Home by Rev.

A. H. Ganoung, pastor of the Dresden Baptist Church. Interment will be in Clemons Cemetery. Bearers will be Lynn, Stephen and Keith Williams, Ronald Holcomb, Theodore Cooper and Grant Foster.

M. Parker Mrs. Julia Burlingham the woman's car stop and his vehicle ran into the rear of the Petacchi car. There were no tickets issued. Two 19-year-olds from Johnsburg, Daniel Walter and Penny Scott, were injured in a motorcycle accident near Newcomb Saturday afternoon investigated by the State Police.

Walter was treated face and foot injuries, Miss Scott for leg and nose injuries. Both were then released. Richard French, 21, and Mary French, 23, both of Regency Park Apartments in Queensbury, suffered neck injuries in a two-car accident in the Village of Lake George Saturday night. Both were released after treatment at Glens Falls Hospital. John Goetz, 20, of Lake George was admitted in fair condition with right hip injuries at Glens Falls Hospital Sunday morning, following a one-car accident on Route 9L investigated by the Warren County Sheriff's Department.

With him was Michael Bartlett, 21, of Glens Falls, who was released after treatment for lip and knee injuries. Robert Loughrey, 20, of Lake George was admitted Sunday morning in fair condition at Glens Falls Hospital with nose and knee injuries suffered in a onecar accident on Route 9L. The Warren County Sheriff's Department investigated. Kenneth Huttel, 21, of Poughquag, was released from Glens Falls Hospital after treatment for an eye injury after his motorcycle fell on top of him Sunday morning. Cynthia Dezalia, 12, of North Hudson was released from Glens Falls Hospital after treatment for arm injuries suffered in a minibike accident on private property in her hometown.

Debra Parker, 15, of Moss Street in Hudson Falls caught her foot between the kickstand of her and the ground while. M. Parker Burroughs, a former pastor of the Glens Falls Friends Church, died unexpectedly Wednesday (May, 22, 1974) at Lakeside Hospital, Cleveland, Ohio. Born in Liberty, attended William Jewell College, was graduated from Drake University, Des Moines, Iowa, and earned the B.D. Degree at Colgate Rochester Seminary, Rochester. Dr.

Burroughs served as executive secretary of the Cleveland Baptist Association since 1962. He served as pastor of the Glens Falls Friends Church from 1938-1942. Survivors include his wife, Esther Burroughs; two sons, Lawrence and Scott and a daughter, Betty. A memorial service was conducted Friday at the First Baptist Church of Greater Cleveland by Dr. Russell Bishop.

The family has asked any memorials be in the form of contributions the Ministers and Missionaries Endowment Fund of the American Baptist Church and that flowers be omitted. SARATOGA SPRINGS Mrs. Julia C. Burlingham, 89, of Broadway, died Saturday (May 25, 1974) at Saratoga Hospital. Born July 12, 1884, in Keeseville, she was the widow of Henry Burlingham.
